    Question Die cut flannel snowflakes....

I'm looking for snowflakes to applique on a flannel quilt I'm making. Does anyone know where I might find the snowflakes in flannel? The ones I've found on Etsy aren't flannel.

I think shabby chic fabrics might have some in a pkg called a finishing kit for one of their quilt kits they sell. I 've been looking for the same thing.

You could get fabric that you want to make your snowflakes out of. prepare and find a local store that has an accu quilt machine with the snowflake die and get them cut for you. We have a shop that does it for free on the first Saturday of the month. I had some done for the Frozen quilt blocks.

I have used doilies for this kind of thing. Some of them look like snowflakes and they always seem to look good on shabby chic projects!! I have even found hand crocheted ones for cheap at resale stores!
    Happy Quilting!

I did two frozen quilts for Christmas with many snowflakes. I had a accuquilt go baby, then borrowed a die from a friend of mine. It worked very well. Do any of your friends have one you could borrow. Or you could bribe one with fabric to do the cutting for you?

I just need to talk a friend into an accuquilt so I can borrow it! I forgot to check with my lqs today but will tomorrow to see if they have on with the die to use. Thanks!
