Oh so neat and your fabrics made them just plain cute - the sassy lady on the first and the 'cat's meow on #2! I'm thinking eventually this kind of cuteness is in my future!?!?!?

Both of these pouches are so cute. Love the use of the panel on the first one.

Thanks for showing your pouches . They are all so cute. I need to make some and keep them on hand for gifts. But first I have to finish 2 UFOs sitting on my sewing table. Ones that I have actually lost interest in.

What do I think???? You have enough energy for 6 quilters. Can I borrow some. Seriously, these are too cute. Was the strap hard to do?

No the straps were easy. I just had to stop and think before I sewed them on.
So all things would go in the right direction, I used the same way to make straps that Jenny did in the tote tutorials.

I made one more to night. With little ears poking out on the ends, to hold on to when opening the zipper

Picture on that one is in my album Tot bags.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Maybe when I get my 'sewing space' set up I'll try this. If it works out for me, I'll make these as gifts for my childhood friends when I go "home" to WNC in Sept!
