    Default Jenny's/Leah's Christmas Stocking

I tried the tutorial on the Christmas stocking, here's the results. I did modify it because with just one fabric on the back it was really flimsy so I added batting and another inner layer of fabric, it's much nicer. I don't like the raw seams inside though, so next time I will probably do a separate lining. When I redid it I added a hanger, don't know why Jenny didn't put a hanger on hers. I used some leftover Merriment charm pack.

Jenny used batting and another fabric also. Top, batting, inside fabric, backing fabric. As I saw it. Yours is very pretty.

I did the quilted top just as she did with batting but she just had a single fabric for the back which made mine too flimsy so that's where I also added batting and another piece of fabric, she might have used a sturdier fabric.

    Your stocking is very pretty.
I can see that you'd want it to be more sturdy with the added fabric and batting.
    Nice!

I did the same thing. I made the whole top and back as one piece and the lining plus batting one piece. Quilted then folded in half. Worked great! I would like to find a way to cover the inside seams at the top. I will figure it out with this one I am doing. If I do, I will write about it

Very pretty. I never made a stocking because we don't use them here. Maybe I could make one for decoration next year.

I used the serger and all my seams were finished.
