    Default Tumbler lap quilt

I just finished this today as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. My daughter won't use the "good" quilts I've made for them as she doesn't want them ruined. So this is a utility quilt just for him. The backing is a flannel so it will be nice and warm.

    Thanks for taking a peek!

Very nice! Warm and cozy colors. I am sure your SIL will really appreciate it.

That is a "good" quilt! Beautiful!

I'm of the belief that quilts are made to be used. If they wear out, make more!

I'll bet he's going to be so happy to get a quilt he can actually use. I advocate using them all. I no longer want to save anything "for good". That was the rule when I was growing up, and I kind of blindly followed it for a while. But now I am all for using up what I have and enjoying the beautiful things I have. At this age what would I be waiting for?

Ooooo great quilt! Love the colors you chose and the tumbler pattern really adds an extra punch to it.
