    Default Grandmothers and star quilt

    For some reason my pictures would not load up on here. I have been trying and trying. So finaly I have them .
    These have been done for a Couple weeks just wanted to share.
    The garden party I sent to my DH's Grandmother who is 93 and she just loved it. And the other one is on my bed .

    Both quilts are wonderful! I'm sure Grandma loves her quilt with the bright posies. I'm drooling over your star quilt.....

    Lovely quilts! I bet your husbands grandmother lover her bright and cheerful quilt.
    Nobody is going to stand up at your funeral and say she had a really expensive sofa and great shoes Life is not about stuff.

    I love all the bright colors in the garden party quilt. Great job with the piecing. It's in such sharp contrast to your bed quilt with all those yummy subdued colors. Lovely quilts. WOW! 93 years old is quite an accomplishment. We should all be so lucky to live such a long life.

    Beautiful quilts! I love the big star quilt, it was my first big quilt. What fabric line did you use? I LOVE the lovely cheerful GFG quilt, how wonderful.

    Alta, both quilts are beautiful in their own right! The Garden Party just beams sunshine and smiles, the star quilt radiates comfort and serenity. I'm sure your DH's Grandmother was thrilled!
