    Default Practise makes perfect?

I've been having a go at making different styles of blocks to help me decide what style of quilt to make next. These are what I've made so far (all using the same fabric - colour difference caused by the camera! the lighter ones are the real colour!)

The problem I have now is deciding which to use - each time I make a different one it becomes my favourite! although I'm not to keen on triangles!

Elaine, why don't you make a sampler quilt with your blocks? They are all so nicely done I can see how you'd have trouble choosing your favorite. Make a dozen or 15 even, set them 3 in a row by 4 or 5 rows, put sashing between them, add a border and you have a terrific lap quilt or even a twin sized bed quilt. (Does that make sense?)
When life throws you scraps, make a quilt!

Yes Elaine, a sampler quilt would be great with these blocks. If my blocks looked as good as yours I would have problems choosing which one is my favorite as well. Great job on all.

    Oh, they are soo beautiful..
Either you make a sampler quilt and mix all of them or yoh have to make three quilts.
Would be a shame not to use all of them. They're wonderful.

Here I am, casting a vote for a sampler quilt, too! Great work - wish I had the wherewithal to start doing that instead of just printing out patterns and telling myself "some day".

I agree to mix it up with a sampler quilt. Love that look. Really like the 3rd square....what is it called?

Sampler quilt here, too! Like Suzy, I really like that last one. Have not seen it before. Was it difficult?

Seems the vote is unanimous lol........ I vote for the sampler too. All three are just too pretty to choose only one.
