Love the little bags. That is one of my ideas for the men for Christmas. Don't know what I'll put in them yet.
Thanks Sandy for the extra sites. They helped me understand your instructions. Some of us have to have pictures don't you know. I like the way you make them and now it looks so easy. Does anyone have a site I can go to to show me how to make a wine bottle bag? It needs to be square on the bottom. I have been looking all day and haven't found what I need. I have one I think I'll pull apart and use it for a pattern. It's for school projects not really for wine. LOL Really!

my local quilt shop has huge rolls of white, dark beige and black nylon zippers....$.75/yd. you pick matching zipper thingies out of a bucket and off you go. no worry about sewing over the metal thing on packaged zippers and you can make any length you want. i have gone thru 3 yds already.

sandy's sites were pretty close to my pattern.....thanks for finding those ! i guess i didn't use right search words.

I want to figure out how to make these! They are really neat, and very pretty. I saw this picture and immediately thought "Christmas presents!" Haha.

Definately great little sags. Christmas presents for sure. Gotta find the roll a zipper product and give it a try (overcome my zipper fear).

on another quilt board one poster made pillow cases with a "matching" book for a craft show. they were so cute, she had three kittens who lost their mittens, with fabric on the pillows with kitties, dog books with dog fabric, bug books with bug fabric, soooo cute. she said she scoured thrift shops all year for books in good shape and then sells the bundle or gives them to charities.
