Aha! Some people are so creative. What a great idea for bobbin storage. Like Amy, I always end up with a big ol' mess. I need a better thread storage system too -- what am I saying, "better system"? -- *any* system would be better than the current chaos! I sew in the dining room but keep supplies & stash in a closet in another room so maybe a box that I can carry back & forth would be best, rather than a spool rack. Anyone have one to recommend?

I like the cases from Connecting Threads. Double sided, inexpensive, holds 46 spools. They are on sale right now!

Isn't this a great idea? I posted this last year I have been using these for about 2 years for bobbin holders. I love them!

Love this! Thanks for sharing. On the subject of pedicure tool hacks for quilting, I've repurposed those wooden foot files the salons use to open and press seams. Puts less strain on my poor finger joints and since I brought it home from my pedicure, no investment.

Do you then just throw them in a box or maybe glue them in a box so they don't move?
Since you're always on my mind can you straighten out the mess up there?
