Default Really excited about my new job

I recently got hired to work at Cozy Quilt Shop in Rancho San Diego. It is Daniela Stout's shop. I really admire her and appreciate how talented she is. I've already started working there. Her staff is great. I'm going to be helping out during store events and as needed as my schedule permits. I am especially excited that I'll get to help during strip club nights. That's when she does the demo that gets posted to YouTube with the new pattern each month. How inspiring it will be for me to be in such a creative environment. Please wish me luck.

Here's a recent demo for a beautiful quilt that was created by Daniela's mom, Georgette Dell'Orco for Cozy Quilt Designs.

You probably won't see me in the videos. I have no desire to be on camera. Maybe if I lost 30 lbs.

How very exciting. I love her. She is so funny and a great instructor in the videos. I have at least two of her patterns on my list because I have so many jelly rolls. And she makes it look so darn easy. Plus she shows borders and such which I really like too. Good luck, it does sound like a great job to have.

That's so cool! I visited there earlier this year when we were in San Diego. Nice shop! We will be back down there twice in October, maybe I can visit again.

Congrats! I live in OC but went down to SD for the quilt run earlier in the summer. That's a nice shop. Being very new to quilting I didn't realize they do videos too. I'll have to check the out.
