You're right, I had to look really hard for the chain. It's there, but tough to see. It looks great, though! Really fun and bright

Its always disappointing when things don't turn out how we have them pictured in our mind but it is still a beautiful quilt and so bright and cheerful. Another positive is that, it is done, complete finito and not sitting on a UFO pile. Celebrate, now you can buy more fabric.

Its a beautiful quilt, and I love your choice of colours, especially the red blocks which really make the other colours pop...I can understand your disappointment with the pattern but like previously mentioned, it's lovely, it's done and whoever you give it to, will treasure it as it so deserves. When I first saw the photo, I thought it bright and cheery, something we all need at some time or other in our lives.

It's really beautiful anyway!! That is what I would call a very happy accident!

It's a beautiful quilt. I've had that happen. It's really frustrating.

It's a lovely quilt. And you can think of the chain as a secret message that only you and a few select confidants know about!

Although it isn't what you had in mind it is a beautiful quilt!

It is frustrating when things like this happen but you still have a beautiful quilt. Someone will treasure it forever!
