    Default Basket Case Quilt

I picked up this Quilt Kit from Connecting Threads in March, the pattern was pretty simple and it went together quickly. Its a flannel top with bamboo batting and flannel backing, after I sandwiched it I sat it aside since the weather was getting warmer and I didnt want all that heavy quilt on my lap to finish. I finally fixed my quilting mistakes last week and got the binding on since its a lil cooler now. Man its a heavy quilt and I am sure will keep my husband warm this winter since hes always cold. I used connecting threads thread to quilt and the color matched perfect to the back. It finished at 60x60

What a lovely quilt. You did a wonderful job. Did your holder just photo bomb your quilt? LOL

Dena that is a very pretty quilt. Is it cool enough in Michigan to bind a quilt in August? Great job!!
