    Default Irons??

I'd like to get some feedback on your favorite irons for quilters? The reviews are all over the board, and I'd just like to know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I've got my eye on the Oliso that Jenny uses. I think we use a cheap GE iron at the moment. It doesn't steam very well.

I couldn't justify an expensive iron like Jenny uses when I got one on sale for only $4.99. JCY

I will never buy another Rowenta iron as long as I live. Mine have all leaked eventually.... I will be following this thread to see what others have to say.

I always buy a Black & Decker.... Not expensive, works well, and lasts... I 'd rather spend what little money I have on fabric, than on an expensive iron... But... That's just me...

See....I'm the same way. I've seen reviews for the one Jenny uses, and they aren't very good. Rowenta even have several complaints that they leak.

I have a Rowenta that I got in a Sam's Club online auction (cheaper than regular price). It seems to work fine. I rarely use steam though; I usually just spray on a little bit of Best Press.

I am again taking back my Black and Decker Professional Steam iron it died this morning. I've only had this one just under three month but is the third iron in 6 months. Tomorrow I'll be back at Wal-Mart exchanging. This one cost about $30.00 , I am scared to spend anymore because the just don't seem to last.

I bought a travel size Rowenta a few months ago and it is perfect on a TV tray next to my machine.
