    Default Fisnished Hexie quilt

I have just finished a twin grandmothers garden hexie quilt using the half hexie. This is for my grand daughter and I have one more to make for my other grand daughter. I love how it turn out and how easy it was!

HOw great that looks and thanks for the idea.
I am making one out of 6 1/2" hexis cut from men's shirts and didn't know how I was going to set them and how or if I would use the white hexis. Your quilt has answered my question. I also have a bunch of green shirts that I have not cut, they will end up being the outside edge, I think.
Mine are whole hexis and I am doing Y seams, going fairly well so far.

I love how it turned out! I haven't tried this yet with my template. It's on my list. Your GD will love it.

And Claire, you are a brave one doing the Y seams!

Your quilt is pretty. I am working on a hexagon quilt myself using the small half hexi ruler and jelly roll. So far looks good.
