Default I am desparate need help

I need to make a turnstile block 6 1/2 unfinished

    These are the instructions:

    Blue - 2 @ 4 1/4 quarter square triangle
    White - 2 @ 4 1/4 quarter square triangle
    Red - 4 @ 3 7/8 half square triangle.

I just can't get it. My brain is in a fog.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

Wish I could help, but not sure what you are talking about.
Maybe you could type in turnstile quilt block in your search engine - I did and a few tutorials/directions came up. I hope that helps.

Monique, not sure what they mean either but what if you cut a 4 1/4" square (one blue and one white) into 4 triangles corner to corner, then a 3 7/8" square (the red one) in half from corner to corner. Once you have this, sew a blue and white triangle together, then sew those to one half of the half square triangle. Try it with scraps first.

That's all I got for ya!!!!

I found this tutorial. It seems as though she explains the process really well but hers is an 8" block. Maybe if you just substitute her "A, B and C" for your "A, B and C" colors and sizes, it will make some sense. Hope you figure it out.

When I find directions like this, I cut up a piece of embroidery stabilizer the way I think it should be and try it out. That way, I don't waste any expensive fabric. A little trial and error usually solves the problem.
