Default What block would you choose for this fabric?

Yesterday I finished some art I had been working on and sent it to Spoonflower for printing. Each flower will be 6.5 inches square. I plan to fussy cut and make them the center of a block made of various greens (I think). But, what block?

    Any ideas/suggestions?

how about a log cabin of sorts? my mother made one with dick and jane fabric. the center or fire of the home was a fussy cut square and then the log cabin strips was added around. i'll try to find the picture for you to see, i think i still have it.

The colors in your irises are just gorgeous! I can't wait to see what you do with this. I don't have a solution, just a suggestion. If you used a square in square design you could alternate the white logs of the square with a mini print or tiny dot that picks up the colors of the iris petals and with the greens of the foliage. You could then alternate with white square centers and reverse order of the white and colored logs of the square. Does this make sense I hope? I'm making this suggestion because these flowers are so beautiful I think they should be the focal point. JMO.

    Wow, the flowers are awesome!
This quilt by Fons and Porter looks interesting with the different colored sashing: Fabrique Foursome: easy quilts fussy cut four quadrant quilt block quilt

Here are a couple block styles that would work nicely for the fussy cuts:
Purple Pink Roses Shabby Chic Floral Flowers Fabric Easy Pre-Cut Quilt Blocks To Fussy Cutter Quilt Kits
Rhapsody Daisy Orange Sage Floral Fabric Easy Pre-Cut Star Quilt Blocks Top Kit Fussy Cutter Quilt Kits

I think that whatever you decide, it's going to be a gorgeous quilt. I love flowers and your artwork for the fabric is wonderful!

That fabric is going to be so lovely. Have you considered just using each flower as its own block and use sashing in a soft green and corner stones that compliment the different colors of the flowers?

As long as you don't cut up the flowers, anything you do is going to be awesome! You are one talented lady! Can't wait to see what you end up doing.
