    Default Finished Embroidery quilt

More squares that my mother did the embroidery work a long time
ago and then put away in drawer, never finshed. Finished now,
only 2 more to go, and the label I made for the back.Click image for larger version.

This is so beautiful and precious! I love it! Your mother was quite a embroiderer.

I so love that you are finishing up some of your mom's quilts. Do you have enough for all the siblings or grandchildren to each have one? I found like 7 sets of embroidered squares in my mil's stuff. Most will finish up as baby quilts. I hope to make them up before the grands come........................in 5-6 years from now. I love the green you put with this. Nice work!

That is really beautiful. Your mom did a wonderful job embroidering the blocks and I like how you put them together with the green fabric. And something to treasure years from now.

I really like this quilt. It reminds me of my moms embroidery. She used to embroidery alot when I was little. Thanks for bringing back such fond memories.

I agree with everyone - what a great treasure to finish something your Mother started. I had a call from a cousin the other day and she's helping her Mom downsize. They have quilt pieces that were hand appliqued (Sunbonnet Sue) by my Grandmother's sister and asked if I'd finish the quilt for them. I can hardly wait to see them and finish it. What a great treasure.

Your mom's embroidery is lovely and you've honored her with your quilt. I'm sure your family will treasure this heirloom forever.
