    Default tree skirt

Super easy tree skirt and I love how it turned out, now my finger that I sliced with the rotary cutter that's not so good, sliced down the side and into the nail, yep it really hurt and bleed everywhere. I was here alone and blood makes me queasy especially my own, thought I was going to pass out before I could get it wrapped in a washcloth and the bleeding stopped, taped it really tight and hoping it will be okay, can't stand to take the tape off and really look at. I know I am a wimp but that's just how it is. Click image for larger version.

OUCH!!! Those rotary blades are lethal.....gentle hugs for your finger. I love your tree skirt....looks like a circular pinwheel!!! Very pretty.

Nice skirt! Maybe you should try a kutz glove, if you pass out at the sight of blood, it wouldn't be a good thing!

I just did that to myself a few months back. It was bad.....into my fingernail from the knuckle up! Took almost a month to heal and I kept it covered everyday. For the first week, I wore a splint over it to protect it in case it got banged. I can hardly see the scar now, which surprises me, but it is there. I am amazed I got feeling back in it because it was numb for a good six weeks. I can tell when I bump it or press on it too hard!

You might want to get one of the finger guards for your ruler I posted about last night.....I won't ever be without one!
