My latest adventure in quilting is a "bold and bright" mixed media wall hanging with applique designs adapted from Native American pottery, pattern from American Quilter, May 2014. Even did some beading on it! I really enjoy trying new techniques.

Very cool! Is there a meaning to the design, like plant's or harvest? I have a house in Ca that is about a mile away from an American Indian museum. So interesting.

Lorie, the author didn't indicate what the symbols represented but I lived in Alaska for more than 30 years and they remind me of images of whales and fish in Alaska Native art.

Very nice! Just in case you don't know where to hang it - I have a perfect spot in my living room!!!!!!! I like the use of batiks.
