    New chop block tutorial

I really like this one. Reminds me of a bento box.

Like it! I thought Bento Box, but it seems somewhat different to me.

Nope, looked at google images, they are the same, three courses of fabric is the usual way they are made.

It's the same as bento box, but who cares? Now we know how to do it without having to buy a pattern. We can spend the $ on fabric instead.

Seems like an easier way to do a Bento, which is what Jenny's tutorials are all about.

I think when they do them, they have to change the name?? Not sure though.

I do know what I'm going to use my "into the woods" sample pack for now.

It's new to me, I have no idea what a Bento is. LOL. Go Jenny!

Jeesh Louise! I looked up the Bento Box and found a couple of tuts on it... I got dizzy with all of the cutting pieces, labeling stacks... BOOM... Jenny hit this one out of the park!!

If I ever make it, I will use Jenny's method. That woman is revolutionizing Quilts with precuts! Jenny... You are the WOMAN!

Ryan did one and has pictures, step by step almost. Doing it this way you get the blocks done faster. http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/sho...aby-quilt.html

Jenny's is faster as you don't have to cut your strips or cut them all into small pieces before you sew anything. Right?

I've seen Bento Box quilts around, but I've always just assumed that you'd make a block, cut it in four and rearrange them anyway.

It's even quicker if you just chain piece the white parts of the blocks, because you don't have to get up and get after every side.

I'm sure it's the Bento Box but I think it's the patterned fabric that skews the look of it. Here's one on point (hope the pic is there!) I have in my to do file which I prefer to the straight up design. Hope it's as easy as Jenny makes it look.
