Default Love the "Scrap Therapy" book called "Cut the Scraps!"

Well, I am half way through my scraps -- which for me is anything less than a fat quarter. It is mostly left overs from previous quilts, remnants and scrap stash that I inherited from my MIL's friend. I have cut them into 5", 3.5" and 2.5" squares. The book recommends 2" but I decided that with all the candy size precuts/patterns coming out that the 2.5" size would be more user friendly!

For inquiring minds, it is the equivalent of approximately
    26 + charm packs
    20 + packs of the 3.5" squares
    24 + candy packs

Based on packs having 42 pieces

I took a class on that method and I wished I had cut the smallest squares 2.5" instead of 2". You are very smart!

What do you like about the book? I haven't bought it and I don't know what to do with the hundreds of scraps I now have all cut neatly into squares.

Wow, how long did it take you? I have a bunch of batiks I would love to do this with, maybe for the group.

Most all use or can easily be adapted to those same size squares

Not long at all! Goes quick! But when you get tired - stop!!!!
I was really trying to knock it all out in one weekend.

Urrrrr - hate to hear about a rotary incident.

Now my question is, how soon can you get here to do my scraps and how long can you stay?

I was sitting here sort of wondering about the 3.5" squares and then it dawned on me that they would work for HST's (done the old way, not Jenny's way) to go with the 2.5" squares.

Isn't that a great book? I've had it a couple years and started up with it right away, but have fallen way behind. Maybe I can get caught up again now.
