Default Looking for an easy pattern

I bought the ansonia pink and chocolate layer cake and can't think of a pattern to do for it. My daughter wants a quilt and she said something pink. Any suggestions, must not be hard. Thanks for any suggestions

Double Slice Layer Cake is a super easy pattern and looks much harder than it is.

I like it too. I have a layer cake of planes, trains and autos and most of them are directional. So the uncut squares would be perfect for this. It's hard to find patterns for directionals and big prints you want to keep big.

Another good and easy top for a layer cake is the big tumbler block using the 10" tumbler template. I just made one and it was quick and easy.

I vote double slice. It's quite easy.

I personally find the double slice too busy.

How about HSTs? If you're making just two with each layer cake fabric, it'll be very quick and you have a ton of different layout possibilities.
