Congratulations Toggpine!! what an awesome prize!

For me a good summertime quilt project are purses and bags. I just love having hand made purses and bags to go shopping with.

I am thinking of doing a two sided wall hanging for a cruise ship cabin door. We are going to be cruising over Halloween so thought about pumpkins on one side and a cruise ship with something from the ports of call on the other. Maybe a scrap book page type thing. Any suggestions?

Well Hot Diggity! THANK YOU! I love this place!!! Have fun at the wedding!

We don't have the heat some of you do, except for about a week or two. My problem is with the farm I only have small bits of time, so I'll use them to cut and then store the pieces in a zip top bag to sew later. Hopefully this summer I'll get some new curtains done for the house, not quilting, but at least some time at the sewing machine!

CONGRATES TOGGPINE! Since this is my first summer as a quilter I would say the smaller projects, like bags, table runners, etc. That said, I'm working on a lap quilt that has a deadline.

    Congratulations to Toggpine -- enjoy!!
I'm hoping to make some table runners this summer, and maybe a wallhanging that I've had a kit for for MANY years.

    Congrats to the winner!

Summer is all about new totes and bags. Farmer's market is in full swing and a girl has to carry her veggies in style!

Summertime is normally more about cutting and piecing for me, although this summer I am hand-quilting a dresden plate quilt as a July wedding present for a friend. I may actually finish it in time.

Congrats toggpine!! I like to work on Christmas gifts (casserole carriers, quilted bookmarks, potholders). Have decided to try and knit some socks this year - have finished one (only three more to go!).
