They are just beautiful I am sure they will love them. I would with a horse theme. I can't get over how nice they are.

Wow, 5 quilts in three weeks! That's quite the production schedule! They are all so lovely, love how each is different with various block patterns surrounding the panels! I have a question-- who gets the alligator? Love the flag in each design!

Ha, Jean, I was also drawn to the Alligator! Those quilts are wonderful!!! With a houseful of outdoorsy GUYS, I would be interested to know more about where you got those very cool panels.

How the heck do you people do it? I'm painfully slow compared to that! Hmm..I wonder if I should start timing myself, just to know how much time I need for everything! I seem to dilladally a lot...

What did you put on the back?

Aaaanyway: Nice quilts, I'm sure the guys are going to love them dearly!

Great job,,, very nice craftsmanship.... I'd like to know how you determine what size blocks to fit the panel correctly... that's always an issue for me... always have to fudge it..

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments, first let me verify that these are not quilted, that I have someone else do, the panels all came from a local quilt shop and I am sorry but I don't remember who they are made by. The alligator goes to the 8 yr old grandson who I know is going to love it the others go to my husband, son, 16 yr. old grandson and son in law. They are all very outdoors guys and could not find a fish panel that I really liked so this is what they get. In order to get the blocks to fit the panels or the previous row I just add a border to get it to the size that I need, probably not the correct way but it works for me. I also made pillowcases to go with them. This is one I made last fall and where I got the idea from, difference is that this one has several paper pieced blocks and did not want to do all of those again. lol
