Red face My first stippled quilt! :)

Hi! I'm feeling pretty proud of my first full stippled quilt. I used my Janome Horizon 8200, so it was definitely no problem at all being she has 11" throat/harp. My stitching is by no means perfect, but it is more than passable This quilt is about 59x69" so its a good big throw. It was great practice!

    That looks great!

Question, did you use the blue dot bobbin case for your Jamone? I just got a 8900, supposedly this is recommended for these models.

Thanks Sasha and Jean! Yes Jean, I decided to spend the $24 and get the blue dot bobbin case. It's easy peasy to switch (and reminds me to take a swipe around under the bobbin case to clean up the lint!) and I noticed a definite difference. I have been fmq with the dogs down and have had no issues. I decided to order a slider too and got the SewSlip instead of the Queen Supreme so between the bobbin case and the slider I'm still under the price of the Queen Supreme (in Canadapian funds!). I didn't find moving the quilt around a big problem at all, even without a slider (it will arrive later this week) I have a cutting table butted directly up to my machine table.

Super job. I figure if the stitches are right (no eyelashes on the back) call it good. You did a wonderful job.
