Hello everyone i am bit new to here. Not to MSQC but to the forum. My name is Alma and currently live in Massachusetts tiny tiny town ). my and few of girlfriends whom we like to call our selves products of Jenny who thought us how to quilt. We have been making quilts for kids with cancer and other horrible diseases that make them reside at the Bostons children's hospital. we love the smiling faces and we know every child deserves comfort and that's what we hope to bring to the kids. So far we have been very successful.Since we have no donations and most of the time are low on supplies we are asking for everyone to open their hearts and draws bins and any fabric you don't want to use or have very little of it don't know what to do with it or have too many scraps we please ask you to send it to the address below include your name and your address as we would like to send thank you notes to everyone whom we receive fabric from...

I'm sorry. While I believe this is a great cause and you do have your heart in the right place, I don't KNOW anything else about you - you join and come in here asking for handouts???? Not something I'd give my time to. Wait until you have established yourself here as a friend and then . . . maybe . . .

we don't need your help Joann's has donated 10 thousand dollars to us for our cause as of right now we are fine thank you everyone for being nice, we don't need you to bash us if you don't want to donate simply don't answer to the post that's all..... we have been working very hard an oblivious major corporation thinks our hearts are at the right place...... quilters aren't ignorant people well to say some of them are) that's all thanks ladies

Welcome from Illinois. Plan on getting caught up on that daily deal Missouri Star has every day! It is the first thing I check every morning with my coffee. I love the Missouri Star YouTube channel. I can set it to go from one tutorial to the next without getting up. I have my computer connected to my TV which is a great way to watch! For the most part all the quilters here on the forum are very nice, and information spreads like wild fire! If you ever need help, tips, or encouragement you will find it here usually! Don't let a few set the tone for all.
