I'm here I had some frog sewing to do when I inverted a row. I was so careful too. Anyway. Finally! My quilt is pieced together with the exception of the borders. I sent a picture to my boyfriend who now would like this as our wedding quilt. My queen-size quilt suddenly became a king size. Fortunately the only difference in the size is in the border. The border will have to wait until next weekend though. It is time to get ready for the work week. I have plenty of time to guilt it since it will be two years until we wed. Thanks for the motivation this weekend Debbie. You helped me a lot.

I did not get as much done as I wished but was able to assist daughter with her quilt, top is now done and she even was able to get is sandwiched and quilted ( she has fallen in love with my walking foot) all ready to put on the binding. I made a chicken pin cushion and 5 more blocks for my never ending project.

Gee just LOOK at all we can do when we share the thought of the work load :-)

    Beautiful projects all!

I only got as far as ironing down the 26 prairie points and moving them around until I liked the look on the top and pinned down. Must take a day break, then I'm going to keep going in short bursts.

Way to go everyone and let's do this again soon. I love, LOVE the motivation this give us all thank you so much.

We really do need to do this again. This is the most I have done in a long time. Still lots to do to get my new sewing area done, but I am motivated now. Awesome everyone, it is really great to work with a team and I really enjoy the oics.

My quilt is about half way quilted with a really simple stipple. It is denser than I usually do, and there are a couple of mistakes, but for the most part I'm pretty happy with it! I think I will run out of thread and need to make ANOTHER trip to the quilt shop to get more! LOL

Love the pink zipper quilt. Can't imagine why you got distracted.

Update: I did it. I got all the piecing done this weekend. I posted the pictures in Show and Tell under the heading Oops! Not my first King size quilt top.

I finished creating, cutting, and pressing all my hst. However I still need to square up 64 of them. I didn't finish but I feel like I accomplished a lot. I have a child returning from college tomorrow so I probably won't sew again until next weekend. I have a feeling that I will be up to my eyeballs in laundry.
Hope everyone had a "sew happy" weekend!
