    Default Potato chip quilt

    Looking for instructions foe a potato chip quilt...the one that starts as a square in the middle of each block.
    Also would love to see pictures of finished ones.

    You mean the name? It's a play off the old Lays Potato chips, "betcha can't eat just one!" motto.
    It's "betcha can't make just one" of these quilts. At least that's what I was told. They are fun, quick, and easy. Great with a focus fabric and a contrast one. Can make them any size you want.

    I did 7" Squares and 2 1/2" strips and you alternate them, framing them in the opposite fabric. My lap one is 4 blocks across and 6 blocks down and I used a single cut of fabric for the back. I SID on it and then embroidered with my machine the flowers. It is perfect for me on my recliner, lol!

    Ahh I see. I think you should start a thread of what your potato chip quilt is. It would be fun to see how many times you made the same quilt pattern!
