I come to you today with a prayer request. My daughter Rae has been ill of late. Severe migraines, dizziness, horrible mood swings, severe anxiety, nausea,, and unrelenting pain. She went for a MRI last week and Friday we got the results. She has a cyst on the Pineal gland which is located in the center of the brain. They will be setting her up with a neurologist this week.
This is all I know at this point: Treatment is usually radiation or surgery. In 85 % of cases the cycst is benign. Radiation...we all know how hard that is on the body. Surgery; because of the location it can have a long recovery time due to some patients have to relearn to walk, talk etc. Needless to say she is terrified, as am I. Please pray for her. I just want to get into the right doctor and act on this. The danger is as pressure builds it can cause nerve damage to the eyes, hence loss of sight.
I will keep you posted on her condition. I'm enclosing her address in case any would like to drop her a line. I know this would mean the world to her. She certainly needs some uplifting, she is so scared. I wish I could have this instead of her.
