How to add photos & links to a post

Hello Tech Wizards
Can you give me the steps to add a picture to a post?
Also how do I add links to a post?
And is it possible to do it from an iPad?
I really appreciate your help.

Not an Ipad user so I can't help you there. However, when you do a post, there are some formatting links at the top of the block where you are typing. One of those looks like a frame with a tree in it. Click on it and follow the directions - find a photo in your files you want to share and tell it to upload. Some photos are too large and will need to be reduced in size before they can be loaded. This is a free, on-line resizing program that is very easy to use: Online Image Resizer - Resize digital photo, images or pictures online!

Also, if you want to share a link to another website, click and copy the url address at the top of that site's page and then in your message here just do a paste (either control-V or pull down the edit menu and paste).

I use an ipad. If you have any of the newer ipads (ones with a camera) you can use the bar above the place where you type select the icon that looks like a tree, it will give you a choice to select an existing photo or take a photo. Just click on that, then click upload photo. It will take a few seconds, then you will see the photo link in the post box, but you won't see the picture until you post your reply.

For links, go to the address bar at the top, highlight the text, copy it, then come down to the post, put your finger in the post box and paste will come up. Paste the link. The link becomes active when you post or save your post.
