Just returned from a sewing retreat in northern New Mexico with my sewing pals. Made two quilt tops. On Thursday, meeting with my sewing pals to learn how to make a QAYG table runner. I'm making a spring/christmas runner.

Since I'm on afternoons this week, I'll be sewing away during daylight hours. Kids at school and DH at work = home alone with nobody to distract me with requests for food or other necessities. Now that's what I call a fun week!
Alas(sigh) I shall be working. I'm on a countdown---five months till retirement.
As a new quilter I'm trying to figure out what colors go together in a quilt I want to make. This is where it's a definite advantage to use pre-cuts.

I'm enjoying the weather and spending time with my kids and husband.
I only make square things.
Enjoying the warm spring weather. Doing some gardening. Going shopping with my Sis, but she doesn't love sewing like me, so no fabric stores.I'll be working on my Tea Cup Quilt.
trying to finish up 2 baby quilts.
Congrats to the two winners!
My week is easy. Naps, practicing my FMQing and some paper piecing and some socializing.

Ah, spring break week for me. No work, no plans. Just enjoying not getting up and going to work! (But did schedule dentist and doctor appointments for this week so I don't have to take time off work for them.)
Celebrating my daughter-in-laws first 29th Birthday!
