    Default I've been robbed

I'm so upset as I write this. My stomach is in knots. I'm waiting for the police to come to make a report.

Yesterday I went to sew at church. Packed all my things and put them in my rolling bag and was off. Came home but didn't take the bag out because I was going to be sewing with my quilting circle today. Today, I have other stuff to put in the car before I leave for a class and then quilting. My sewing bag isn't in the car! It's gone. I go back in the house to make sure I didn't bring it into the house. Not there.

    I've been robbed!

I swear I locked the car like I always do, but I must not have this time.

So, I guess I have nothing to do but make an inventory of what is in that bag while I wait for the police. I want to cry.

Oh, that's awful. You must be gutted. I can't understand these mindless morons who think it's ok to steal from people and upset them so much. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
I'm not a complete idiot.....some pieces are missing!

I am so sorry this has happened. How awful. I would check with your home owners and/or auto insurance to find out if it would be covered.

Are you sure you didn't leave it at the Church?
Since you're always on my mind can you straighten out the mess up there?

Oh, how awful! It has been so cold here that I wouldn't dream of leaving my machine in the car overnight, for fear of freezing alone! I am so sorry this has happened to you. Once you can get through the police report, insurance paperwork, wait for the check, etc.....you will have a shopping trip to look forward to in your future. I know that is little consolation now.

Oh yeah, my machine is gone. Rulers, fabric, thread, presser feet, scissors and rotary cutters. All of it.

I feel sick for you I hope the police don't just go, oh a sewing machine and rulers. That would piss me off too if they did.

Oh, I feel so bad for you. I remember once when I left my car unlocked in my condo lot. Next day my crochet tote was gone with all my months of work and all the change and money compartments in my car emptied! We know it was kids, but I wonder what they did with my bag of work. It probably got pitched somewhere when they realized that it was not a purse. I didn't even care so much about the money, but months of crochet work gone forever! I learned my lesson.

And, BTW, you may have very well locked your car. Thieves have quick ways of entering your car in a few minutes with their super duper thief tools!
