Love it!! It really looks like a kaleidoscope.

ID:	70038I'm toying with this batik. Thoughts? I really wanted magenta/purple but couldn't find it.

The blocks are amazing! I think you need more contrast with the background. I made a mistake with mine and the blocks didn't pop. What about black? You might want to audition them with that.

Beautiful! I have had a fabric for this pattern for a very long time, just haven't done it yet. I do have an idea what it will look like because Joyce (Madampolo) used the same one. I really like your fabric, too.

Sondra - I am having lustful thoughts about this fabric - do you recall the name? Those blocks are just stunning.

Maybe the batik is a bit distracting?

I found the fabric at Hobby Lobby....I will look again when I get home as to the name of it.

I did find some purple (the right shade) this morning before work. Anxious to try it next and make some decisions.

I read online somewhere that you want medium scale print, and enough contrast in the background of the print to the design whether it be flowers or whatever. This is a paisley and had every imaginable color in it except black it seems. My guide was to choose something that would look better cut up than as a whole piece.

OMG - was that all the same piece of fabric??? You are magic. We don' have Hobby Lobby's in Canada, but I'm sure I can order it online from somewhere if you are able to get the name sometime.
