    Default A Star Quilt

I made this for my teenaged nephew. On the binding I put "Sam's 'A Star' Quilt" I made the quilt from the tutorial here In Color Order: Giant Vintage Star Quilt Tutorial. I realized after getting the top put together that this pattern could easily be adapted to make any star block that is 4 x 4 into a one block quilt. It was quick and easy to put together - now I am on the hunt for blocks that would look cool as a quilt. The other thing is that the quilting options are endless. I did straight line stitching but saw one that was quilted with one big spiral and it looked awesome. Anyway, here it is.
