Default I actually created something I don't like.

I used these same materials and made a quilt using squares. Wanted something different. No pattern to follow just an idea in my head. I asked for opinions, you were all wonderful at giving them. Didn't take all advice , sighhhhhhh. And now I am unhappy. I am not going to throw it aside, will add to it and finish it. One day, I will look at it on my design wall, and the the color for the border will jump out at me. Until then, I am unhappy. Thanks for listening.

just an idea..... why not use a color side setting triangle... say the yellow or the pink.... when i first look at it see white, not the beautiful pinwheels.... just a thought

I love, love, love this! It is so bright and cheery with such motion to it! I do hope you will someday finish it. I think it's wonderful!

What's not to like about your lovely quilt? I would use a medium dark bluish purple for the border. It's really beautiful...please finish it because I know you will be thrilled with it. I once made a quilt top and let it hang in my closet for at least 12 years because it didn't thrill me. I dragged it out and sent it to be quilted and it's now one of my favorites!

This is charming! Maybe one of the deeper purples for a border? I could see a teenaged/preteen girl absolutely loving this...

I really like it and think it would be great for a girl's room.

All that hard work and you don't like it? A border will frame it and it will finish as a beautiful quilt!

Well, hm.. I like it. I think it's bright, cheery...but I've had this happen to me....where I just don't like what I've done with the quilt.

Do you suppose you might like it better if the colors were spread around rather than in rows? I think it is cool but you might try mixing it up.
