    bjsmith57,

Thanks, Arizona is warm right now, I'm sure. Saw the sun come up and it was sunny, now it's snowing and the play-off game will be cold for my husband.

    Shinny Thimble,

Wow - that's a lot of babies (love) to have. You are blessed. Eastern Colorado, I was born in Denver and have lived here almost all my life and would not change that. Is the family close by or are they located in various places. I have two siblings out of state and both are in Texas right now.
Hope to hear from you once in a while, us Coloradans need to stick together.

    Hello Ruthymae,
Glad to see you hop in and post. Enjoy the game with hubs; we are sitting here hoping against all odds that Carolina Panthers will win their play off game.
Our temps right now are actually pleasant with the exception of the ever present wind that has been blowing non stop. All of our flags are all unfurled and flying gloriously.

    Lindagie,

Thanks for the welcome. Being Grams will be fun, but no spoiling from me. Just good old fashion fun things and lesson from around the world is all my grand baby will get from us. Being loved and showing her how to love, teaching how to be grounded and knowing that knowledge is empowering, that's the best thing I can think of to spoil her.

    pcbatiks,

Yes you are correct, a baby quilt or two. When I handed a charm pack to my daughter (in-law), and my son asked her what does she have? Mel answered a sample pack of fabric. I just smiled and let her look. Mel picked out some things and I have bought yardage of those samples. Not sure what it will become as of yet, but the line is giggles. I just loved the name and the brightness of the line.

Yes, there is a bit of Sheldon in all of us.....

    Carol336,

Highlands Ranch in almost in my front yard, I live in Parker. Parker has more people than horses these days, but there is still a good many smaller ranches outside of Parker and the surrounding places south and east.

Michigan is were Mom and Dad took me for 10 years of my childhood. That was when Dad was still in the Navy. When he retired, Mom made him move back home to Denver. Most of the extended family is still alive and living in Colorado somewhere.
