Default Newbie to quilting and forum

Hi. I am a newbie to quilting. My grandmother left 2 dozen pieced quilt tops in a trunk about 20 years ago. I just rediscovered them and fell in love. Some of them are crazy, string, and randomly pieced but a few were really beautiful, such as Dresden plate and log cabin. So far I've been self taught and I attend a few classes from Joanns and Crafty.

Welcome to the forum from Illinois! Neither of my grandma's quilted. You are so lucky to have some family heirlooms to treasure and now you are adding to the collection! I have taken some of the Craftsy classes also. Hope you have found Jenny's tutorials, too.

Hello and welcome to the forum, glad to have you with us. How marvelous that you rediscovered those quilt tops. Would love to see pictures.
My guess by your name Magnoliabelle is that you live in the south.
