    Default Quick question re basting

Hi there, I wondered if anyone has an opinion on the MicroStitch tool for basting. Is it just another gimmick or is it good to use? Tia.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, just did a quick search since I'd never heard of it before . . . I would be extremely leery - especially since 1) you'd have to have replacement pieces and who knows how many, when, and where they may be available . . . and 2) having used those 'pricing guns' in retail, they seem very similar and can damage fabric . . .

    Just my TWO PENCE . . .

The shirt answer is.... Get Basting Spray! I have never basted a quilt any other way, and love it.

Dritz makes one that is odorless....which I love. It's expensive, but worth every penny... I always use a Joann's coupon...

I think I saw this one or at least one similar to it at Joann's. I would rather use the basting spray.
