    I agree, it is beautiful. When I did my GFG quilt, I just could not have it machine quilted, so took it to an Amish lady. Also to do the edges, I was not going to cut my hard work of hand sewing hexie's together to straighten the edge - so I did the knife edge and it worked out fine. That quilt about 3 years from start to finish - with lots of other projects in between. Currently working on one that has the star shapes and also a Lucy Boston, Patchwork of the Crosses. Need more time in the day. Have a good holiday. From northern Iowa.

    You are totally amazing! This is going to be beautiful! I could never have the patience to do something like this! Can't even imagine how you would sew the rows. It will be a masterpiece and an heirloom quilt!
