    Default Greetings from Rochester, NY

Glad to have found this. To introduce myself, I am:
    • a wife
    • a mom to three (a 4-year-old and 18-month-old twins)
    • a writer who works full-time
    • and

a wannabe quilter who has so far only done simple quilting projects (my mother is an amazing quilter so if I can be a quarter as good as she is, I'd be happy).

Looking forward to interacting with all of you!

Welcome to the forum Karin. It sounds like you have your plate full....but there's still room to make some beautiful quilts. Barb

Hello Karin and welcome to the forum from England. 18month old twins - that's a full-time job on its own!

    GO MCC!!!!

Formerly lived in Fairport and worked in Rochester. Spent quite a bit of time on MCC's campus, too!!

Hello and welcome to the forum. I lived in Ithaca, NY for 13 years. Love the beauty of New York State during the fall.
    What do you write?
It is always best to start out with small projects when learning to quilt. I still like to do small projects rather than large quilts. The largest I have made is a twin/lap size quilt.
