Default Glow in the Dark Thread...anyone??

I am extremely interested in using some glow in the dark thread for some design work on my grand babies quilts.
Has anyone had any experience in using this? Needle size/tension etc.

I know someone here used some and even posted pictures. I just can't remember who. Hopefully she will see this and chime in. If I remember right no special needle was needed.

I've been thinking about this, too. My question is, is it creepy?

I have been wondering about this thread as well. I don't think it would be creepy unless it was a creepy design.

I have used the embroidery version in some embroidery projects - the spider web on a Trick or treat bag and the white on some for corn hole bags.

I've only used it for embroidery but i would guess if you used the right size needle you would be fine

I have several spools, but haven't used it. It appears to be similar to regular Guterman or Mettler thread in weight, so I don't suppose you need a special needle.

Dropped in for a moment and saw your question. Attached is a thread/needle reference guide for Superior Threads. They carry a Nite-Lite thread which is glow in the dark and I would think it is similar to your thread. Hope this helps.

    OK, thanks all that posted.
I guess I'm going to have to jump in (AGAIN) with both feet and order some and see what happens.

You know, just about the time you think you have everything under control, WHAM, another idea cements itself in my frontal lobe.
I guess after this one, I'll just wait for the next WHAM.
