    Default Quilting Quickly Magazine

    Hello!

I'd read on an earlier thread about the Big Star that Jenny from MSQC made a video of. I love the pattern and would like to try it. The earlier thread said the pattern was included in the Quilting Quickly Spring 2013 issue. I've found it available in both print and in digital. Any thoughts of advantages/disadvantages as to which one to purchase? They're the same price so that doesn't enter in to play.

    thanks so much!

I like the printed magazine myself, but I tried to get one of those when the summer issue came out, and they said they only had digital copies available. (That was on the fons and porter website, m*qc was also sold out). I ended up buying the digital copy and printing it out.

I love the printed and if I ordered a digital copy I would end up printing it out.

I prefer digital and any pattern I plan to work on I'll either print out or just use the IPad or computer to view it.
If you get digital be sure you can access it again in case you have a computer crash or upgrade and need to download it again in the future.

Love the printed. All 3 of mine are signed. She signed my last one to me with a sweet message, while we were at the retreat. That one is especially precious to me.

I prefer printed. I lost my last issue twice, found it once, but I fear it headed for recycling the second time. My daughter suggested ordering the e version, but I'm more tactical than digital. I think it's personal preference. The second one I bought is now in a binder.

I also would prefer the printed pattern...easier to keep close by in case you need it!
