Hi all I am AuntieVic. I joined the forum in July and have only commented on a few things so far. I learned today that I was a lurker on the site. I just returned home from my visit to the Missouri Star to take a look at the new retreat. And WOW it was great. I met Jean, "hi Jean" she was so nice and kind t show me around the retreat. And she told me all about the Forum and how much fun it is on here. So I decided that I should stop lurking and see what I have been missing.

I have been quilting since 2006. when I decided to turn my sons old t-shirts into a quilt. Well I had to learn to quilt in order to finish it. First lesson February 2006, and quilt top completed by graduation in May 2006. Off to a long arm quilter and I was hooked.

Well hope to chat with you all some time. Those that are going to see the store and retreat this weekend, have tons of fun.

Hi Auntivec. I kinda started the same way. My daughters tshirt quilt top and back are done. I just have to sandwich and quilt. But I got sidetracked with other fun to do just learned quilts. How great you were at the retreat and welcome bavk to the forum

Thanks kgrammiecaz. I get sidetracked too, when I see a fun new thing to learn. I just started my Iron Quilter II project, so I had to stop working on a different project so I can join in the fun. Hopefully I can get back to the other project soon, as it will be a gift in December.
