What a beautiful quilt and the time & work that went into it....I can only imagine. I am a new quilter, so right now I aspire to sewing straight line, accurate, 1/4" seams and having my seams match! On vacation right now and have finished 4 small table topper/wall hanging size tops, 3 with borders.
When I saw your title "Flower Power", my mind immediately went to the "hippie" era of flower power! lol I guess that comes from being born in 61 and growing up in the 60's & 70's....when everything was cool & groovy!
