Question Where to find Coats & Clark Dual Duty thread.....

A machine repair man told me years ago on my Singer 2010 (now 28 years old and still going!) to use Coats and Clarke Duel Duty cotton covered poly thread to stop the fluff that kept jamming my machine. I did, but back then I was just making little girls clothes and "smaller" things. Not quilts. Now, I have a new machine (old one doesnt to FMQ very well) and am making quilts, I use Connecting Threads 100% cotton but have the constant fluff problem both in the bobbin cage and in the needle arms and always a chunk of fluff ends up at the needle eye. And good grief the fluff I clean out from the bobbin cage! I want to start using CCDD but good grief...the amount used of a quilt and the price of a spool of it.. I just can't afford it! I'd have almost as much in the thread as in the fabric! I only have a Joann's craft store here and it is like $8 for 300 yards. I could buy online but I haven't seen it any cheaper.

Anyone use this and have any suggestions on where to get it at a reasonable price?

Coats Dual Duty XP® S930 Thread Tex 30 500 yds - #0100 White | WAWAK Sewing Supplies has 500 yard spool for $2.65. It's the Dual XP instead of Dual Duty tho. Check out all their thread; they have great prices and great service
