Thank you, dear friends! Your kind words brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much! I feel motivated thanks to you to just start off with the next project

Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn’t come. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you. And most of the time, those were the uninvited ones.

    Steffi,
I really like your choice of fabrics and the whiggly looks like a big soft downy style that could be snuggled under!
I have read through this thread and kept thinking, Tanya's whiggly, I remember that one - and I was correct! Hers was professionally quilted. Nothing wrong with that. the results are totally different.
I think you should be very happy with your results. I am quite proud of you, myself.
And our dear, dear Rebecca gave you some very good advice on machine piecing, quilting. I am not so good at machine quilting which is why I still hand quilt most everything!
    Blessings to you sweet girl!

I think it's beautiful. Maybe in time the flaws won't be the thing you focus on about this one and it will shine for you.

Great job - and isn't Posy such a fun fabric to work with? I made my pinwheels and prairie points baby quilt with that line.

I think you did a great job. I am a new quilter and it is hard to compare our quilts to other people. I tried quilting twenty years ago and didn't finish the project because it wasn't good enough. I started trying to quilt again after a younger friend of mine showed me some quilts she made for her friends children, they were far from perfect but she was so happy and proud of them that I decided I would try quilting again. I figure if I can just do well enough that they stay together when washed they are a success.
