    Default l had a brilliant idea to do some embroidery on a few of the hexagon centres

    l had a brilliant idea to do some embroidery on a few of the hexagon centres ..but l've never done embroidery before ..so its a learning curve.. this is my first one....l thought l would do a few of the centres in the black hexie flowers.

    I think that is a great idea. Just one suggestion - just be careful of embroidering too close to the edge. You wouldn't want to cut off all your hard work when you sew them together. It will be lovely.

    I think that is a great idea, and your embroidery looks wonderful!

    I really love the colors. AS someone said, just watch going too close to the edge. Otherwise it's very beautiful!

    LOVE!!! How WONDERFUL!!

    Did you do the embroidery on a basted hexie? Please share how you did it! It looks to me like the seam allowances are already turned under, but it's hard to tell from the picture.

    I am REALLY really loving this...what a fantastic idea!
