Default Add Two More for the NICU

Finished up a couple more quilts for the NICU group. Used up leftover squares from what Libby sent me and scrap flannel I had as well, then used up all the little pieces on the one bordered in green. I did cross hatching on both, with loop de loop in the green borders.

Those are very cute Karen! You must be in the same mode I am in...use up left over-already cut up-material. I just sewed together 256 3" squares to make a lap quilt (will post pics later)
LIVE well, LAUGH often, LOVE much

I have been trying to use some of my stash, plus I got that box of flannel from Libby. I've used most of it except for a couple larger pieces that will go on COC quilts. The one with little scraps was made with 2.5" squares and I really like how it turned out. Now I need to get the idea of a bed sized quilt from squares that small out of my mind.

Those turned out great! Here's hoping Marilyn is well enough to come to Hamilton in October. I'll be there, God willing! I can take them to her.

She better be there! I've got 7 quilts for her already.

I am boxing up grandkids to send to Karen so I have time to catch up to her . . . just sayin'.

Karen, you are a speedy quilter! I love what you have done. The kids and parents will be so pleased to receive one of your quilts. I need to get crackin'! I got a box from Libby and it is looking at me across the room, so sad that it hasn't been put to good use yet! It is great fabric, just got to get off my duff.
