Default Calculator for precuts - price per yard

    Hi All!

I created a spreadsheet that will give you the calculation for precuts to convert them into yardage prices so you can compare and see what kind of deal you're really getting!

Just thought I'd share the link. Feel free to play with it!

You're welcome! I had lots of people asking if precuts were really worth the prices and decided to make this little conversion sheet. I know you have to also figure in cutting time you're saving but for some people it's all about the fabric cost. Definitely makes MSQC daily deals worthwhile!

Wow this is great info! I'm pretty happy to see the costs on the charm packs & layer cakes. They are definitely worth it. Not so much on the jelly rolls, for me. I like those less anyway, the bias and all the dustiness are a turn-off for me!

I love precuts for the variety. Most quilt shops don't sell the whole line I think they are worth the variety.

Ah, another excel junkie! I think the variety in the pre-cuts is what draws me to them the most, as well as the convenience.

Thanks Katie! I never bought a fat quarter bundle. That's looking pretty good to me now!
