That's so cute, Katie! It's simple, but doesn't look it! I will be making some of these. Thanks!

Katie, pineapples are one of my most favorite patterns - this is certainly a special one, especially since YOU are the author of it.

Anna, I hope you see this one - Pineapples are easy!!!!!

Oh thanks!! I'm having a blast working on Bonnie Hunter's Pineapple Crazy pattern from her String Fling book and some people wanted to try paper piecing too after I talked about it. It's a small project you could do in one afternoon or evening. They make cute gifts too!

Katie, I did one of Bonnie Hunter's Pineapple quilts a few years back. It was just so much fun and went together so very quickly. I mailed her a pic of it and she responded with so much joy about my sharing it with her. I keep meaning on doing another one; I've made several paper pieced pineapples for pinnies - I am simply thrilled to see you spread your wings! You shall fly high and far, dear girl!

I have made similar pineapple pieced pincushions and they are just so cute. I'll take a picture of the one that I have when I get home. I have a question. What is the best thing to fill the pincushion with? Mine is stuffed with remanent quilt batting but my pins don't go in smoothly.
