    I am getting a bit obsessed with all things American too We have 2 maps of the USA hanging in our house vs zero maps of the UK I do have plenty of Union Jack tea-towels and throw pillows though

    That is very cute! And your "ishy" seams will make it even more memorable for you and the kids too!

    Quilter's Rules:
    #1 Buy fabric - no matter how much you already have.
    #2 Sew all day and all night - no cooking allowed.
    #3 Start a new quilt before the last one is finished - must return to #1.

    I like it, and the ish made me smile too. The idea with one red binding and one blue binding sounds perfect to me.

    Great looking quilt! I liked the ish comment too - mine are always kind of ish... Love the idea of doing the bindings differently for the kids - that way the each know which one is theirs.
